Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jax and Opie MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions.
Jax and Opie are a bonded pair that have been together since they were wee kittens.
Jax is a striking Snowshoe Siamese mix and Opie is a beautiful Seal Point Siamese. They are shy kitties, that like to play with wand toys and cuddle up with you once they are comfortable. They do run and hide if something unexpected alarms them.
A new baby, in their very small home, has become too overwhelming for them. The baby's cries and sounds are a disturbing intrusion to their former peaceful, contented environment.
They are strictly indoor only. Their owner says they are healthy although have not been seen by a vet since their kitten vaccinations in July 2021. They are due for their 3 yr booster and rabies vaccines. They have been reluctant to be placed into a carrier. A friend has been helping to acclimate them to a carrier by placing one in an accessible area with comfy bedding and treats awaiting to be discovered inside.
Jax and Opie had been good about using their litter box until the baby arrived. They have since had intermittent urination accidents outside their one and only litter box. It is currently located in a busy narrow hallway. We look forward for them returning to normal litter box use when they are in a more spacious quiet home. We recommend at least two litter boxes, located in more private out of the way places, that are scooped 2 times a day, refreshed with clean litter and thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis.
It is not uncommon for kitties to find the presence of a new baby in their world upsetting for them. Their owner loves these boys and has come to the difficult realization that they need a different home with no babies or young children. One where patience will prevail, providing time and gentleness to allow them to feel safe, with the comfort needed to unfold into the sweet, affectionate, playful boys they really are and want to be. We hope that will be you! We've even included some super cute baby pictures for your 'family album'.
Jax is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his owner in Fremont.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Jax (and Opie) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Additional adoption info
READY TO ADOPT?
The first step in the adoption process for your new kitty is to submit an adoption application. The second step is to contact the foster home listed on the specific cat(s) or kittens you are interested in to find out more. Are you adopting a kitten? Kittens do best when they have a friend or two to grow up with! Kittens who grow up with another feline friend tend to be well-behaved, well-adjusted, and overall happier. Purebred Plus Cat Rescue kittens are typically adopted as pairs or as a single kitten to homes with an appropriate feline playmate. If you prefer only one kitten, we strongly encourage you to consider one of our wonderful older kittens or young adult cats that are available!

Our cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested. We are not a shelter. All of our cats are fostered in private homes. The whole goal of the adoption process is to ensure the cat or kitten is a good fit for you, the adopter, and your environment. We are looking for the best fit NOT first come first serve. We always focus on what is the best for the cat or kitten.
When you adopt from Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue, you are saving TWO lives - the cat you adopt and the cat who gets to take its place in rescue!
