My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koda was surrendered to the shelter on 10/19/2024 because he was being kept outside and wasn't burning enough energy so he kept breaking out of his kennel. Koda is a sweet 8-10 month old pup, but he hasn't had much training. Being kept outside his whole life didn't allow him the training he needed, so we'll be working with him during his stay at the shelter. Koda is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and ready to get out of the shelter. If you are interested in adding Koda to your family, his adoption fee is $150 with an approved application.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
