Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hubert was brought to the San Diego Humane Society as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on October 19th to become a Frosted Face. Hubert is 10 years old and weighs 14 lbs.
Hubert went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about him in a home environment. His Fling Mom reports:
"Hubert is such a love bug. This is one grumbly good boy who loves snuggles, walks and treats!
Hubert walks about a mile or two every day. He's very excited to get his meals, and any time the treats come out he shows off how good he is. He already knew how to "sit", and we've been playing around with a few new tricks. Bath time was easy because of, you guessed it, chicken!
Hubert prefers to have someone at home. If he can't get to me ,he'll pace or dig for a bit on carpet/baskets/pillows before picking a spot to lay down. When left alone it takes him an hour or two to settle down. This has been improving, and I think he can get better with some confidence in his people.
Hubert has also improved a ton with car rides. I'm pretty sure he just needed to be shown that cars can take him good places, too. He's enjoyed going to the beach and on a hike, as well as having a pup cup or two."
Hubert is back on-site and ready for his forever home. Please drop by to meet him and our other Frosted Faces between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM any day of the week!
