My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please reference www.DefensaAnimalDePuertoRico.org/Adopt  to learn how adoptions work with Defensa & Rescuers.

This sweet little guy was found in the center of a road in Aguada with his sibling. The sibling has found a home, but Noname is looking for a family. He is active, curious, and uses the litterbox. He has received a clean bill of health from the vet (no fleas, no ear mites, no worms), and will receive his first vaccines on November 18.

More about this rescue

Defensa Animal de Puerto Rico is a Puerto Rico-based nonprofit working to help the dogs, cats and horses on the island by:

- Lowering the number of dogs, cats and horses that are injured, un-owned or neglected by providing adoption marketing and financial assistance for vet services
- Increasing the rate of sterilization of all cats and dogs and castration of stallions/horses
- Taking in, rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted, injured or abandoned horses

For dogs, cats, pigs, birds, etc., Defensa relies on foster homes. For horse rescue, Defensa utilizes donated land.
