This precious little girl is called Sophia and she is the most wonderful all-round Yorkie girl you will ever meet. There is no diva about this 6 to 7-year-old girl that weighs 16 lb. She came to Critter Calvary as a little girl in great distress. Her owner recognized that she was very ill and took her to the vet and they told her she had a very serious uterine infection that would kill her if they did not do an emergency spay. The woman could not afford the bill to fix her girl. She in fact had never had her to the vet much at all. As you can see in these pictures she had not been groomed in several years and we ended up having to cut all the long hair off in order to start over and give her a fresh start to a better coat. Our rescue stepped up to help this sweet girl get the infection out of her body and spayed, so she could live another good 10 years. She has been fully vetted now and recovering on antibiotics and will soon be able to be adopted by October 25thwith a clean bill of good health. Sofia is fully housebroken and is a little lady with such a gentle presence and demeanor. She knows all about being good in a crate and is a happy girl who smiles all the time. She is actually around some farm animals such as chickens, horses, goats, cats and of course other dogs and enjoys the friendship of them all. She is everyone's friend and you could not ask for a better, more well- adjusted and happy little Yorkie. If you are interested in making this girl your very own, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. she is currently in Nashville Tennessee and we transport to the Northeast and have six transportation stops to meet families that are adopting our dogs and our cats.
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
