Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I`m Jax, a sweet and happy, male, 5-year-old, Shepherd mix. I have been around dogs, cats and kids and done great! I am a bit of an opportunist when it comes to getting outside, so I need to be watched when opening the door, otherwise I will go on a grand adventure. For this reason, it would be nice if my future home had a fenced in yard. Fun Fact about me is that I have the longest legs in the world! If you would like to visit me and my long legs, submit an adoption application so we can get a playdate on the books!

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
