Introducing Rocky! Rocky is a 4 month old Malinois mix. Due to his breed, we will be requiring Shepherd experience and a family that can accommodate his energy. Rocky is currently 27 lb. He is going to be very high energy even as an adult. He is extremely smart and will likely pick up training very quickly. Rocky and his siblings were being given away. Him and a couple of his siblings ended up going home with coworkers. Rocky's placement didn't work out and he is now in need of a new home. Thankfully his people a lot of people who love dogs came together and worked on the best possible scenario for Rocky to get that family. Rocky went to the vet this morning to get a check up and start his puppy shots. He has an amazing foster family and two foster siblings that plan on teaching him what it means to be a good house companion, and one of his litter mates lives next door, so they get a chance to play too! Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Guardians of the Green Mile Inc. We are a group of individuals that have come together to save the lives of animals that are in danger of being euthanized. We raise funds to fully vet the animals and to provide them with a stable home until they are adopted. All of the dogs in our Rescue are in Foster homes while they are looking for their forever family. The only time we put a dog in boarding is for a Foster to go on vacation if another Foster is not able to care for them. We appreciate your taking the time to fill out the application to adopt one of our Guardians of the Green Mile pets. The questions that we ask are to only find the right fit for all of our dogs and the families that will be adopting them. Adoption donation is $300.00 for dogs over 1 year old and $350 with a $50.00 spay / neuter deposit for puppies/dogs under 1 year old.
