My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patricia spent 3 nights with two of our foster volunteers and that was all it took to see what a sweet, silly, gentle, and cuddly companion she is. She is house trained, enjoys short to medium neighborhood walks, car rides, golf cart rides, and being near you. Patricia has short bursts of playfulness in the backyard with a hard rubber ball. She enjoys sharing the sofa with you, and she will give you an occasional soft kiss. She is a dog who will sleep curled up at the foot of your bed with you. Once she settles on your bed, she is still for the night and wakes up when you do. She is a low to medium energy dog who is friendly when your guests arrive at the door. You can eat your snacks on the sofa, a firm “no” is all it takes for her to not try to sneak a bite. She was calm and relaxed when given a bath in our volunteer`s walk-in shower. Patricia does not always enjoy having her feet touched, so we recommend that any children in her new home be age 5 or older so they can understand her boundaries. Patricia may do well with other dogs in her new home after a slow introduction. To view Patricia’s video, please click the blue ‘play’ below her 3 photos.
