Meet Magnolia, a sweet 5-month-old, 10 lb rat terrier mix from Alabama! Her foster family calls her "Maggie," a name she responds to with enthusiasm.
Maggie has been adjusting wonderfully to life in downtown Manhattan. She loves cuddling, playing with other pups, snacking, and engaging in enrichment activities. During the day, she attends daycare, where she enjoys mimicking the older dogs and learning from them. Eager to learn and please, Maggie is already working on commands like "sit" and making progress with her potty routine. She’ll need ongoing encouragement to continue mastering her outdoor potty habits.
Maggie is becoming more comfortable walking on a leash in the big city, especially since walks come with treats! She takes at least three walks a day and is happy to be out and about.
Her personality shines as a happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and smart little pup. Maggie is doing well with crate training, settling in at night, and managing daytime crating if she has a stuffed toy to keep her company. She loves being cozy with her foster family, often snuggling on laps or lounging in bed.
Maggie would thrive in a moderately active household. She enjoys both playtime and quiet moments. Whether joining a family with another dog or as an only pet, she’s versatile and would even do great with children.
If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and playful companion, Maggie might just be the perfect fit for your family!
Maggie is trying her paw as media influencer too: Happy Halloween Part 1 & Part 2.
Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. Neutered and microchipped. Needs heartworm test. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
