Passion Fruit has not had it easy in her short life. She was found outside with an injury to her leg after a hurricane hit our area last September. At only about four months old, this poor girl had suffered a fracture to her femur. Who knows her history before the fracture, but being that she was injured and alone after a storm, it likely wasn’t good.
We got her the necessary surgery and she has physically recovered from the trauma. Sadly, Passion Fruit seems to remain somewhat traumatized mentally from her ordeal. She is shy and prefers to keep to herself. She does like slow, gentle pets and she very much loves Churu lickable treats. Armed with Churus, we are working with her to try to bring her out of her shell. She needs a patient and understanding adopter, who would go slow with her. She’s young still, so in a loving home she could finally learn to trust people.
If you have a big heart for a small girl, come meet her.
