Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $275, plus taxes
Location: Foster Home
McNugget is a very sweet female black kitten who is trying hard to help me write this. She is very curious and loves adventure. She is also very cuddly and loves to snuggle up for pets and tummy rubs. Her favorite thing to do is play with a ping pong ball in the bath tub. She is a sleek little black panther and is currently biting the buttons on my shirt! McNugget will bring laughter and love to any adoptive family. She is a litter box and scratch pad pro.
McNugget is a female, about 6 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations.
If you would like to meet McNugget, please fill out an application on the Carver Scott Humane Society website today!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
