Our neighbors originally cared for Jake and his siblings. Originally, there was a momma stray that had kittens (Jake and his siblings). They had them spayed and neutered, and fed them. Then, they moved and did not take them with them. I guess because they considered them all strays, they did not feel like they were their cats. However, Jake is a very, very sweet boy cat. He's probably the furthest thing from a stray, and may be the friendliest cat I have ever encountered. He loves attention. He loves treats. He likes to play. He seems to get along great with his siblings. In fact, if you're interested in any of them, we'd love them to stay together. Jake has had all his shots, and I keep him on Advantage flea medication. I believe Jake would assimilate well in another home. When I took him to the vet, he was very friendly with the techs and veterinarian. Unfortunately, because we have an older, no so friendly indoor cat, we keep Jake outdoors, he's not litter box trained.
