My name is Rosie!

Rosie has lots of love to give! She loves people and other dogs, and is always looking to make a new friend. She was adopted in January and we work on positive-reinforcement based training throughout our daily routine. She is making great progress with leash walking, impulse control, engage/disengage, and boundaries. I am so proud of how far she has come in our time together!
Rosie is high-energy and has a very high prey drive triggered by squirrels. New things are very exciting for her, so she needs patience from her humans as she learns how to experience the world by going slowly. She also needs lots of engagement/mental stimulation, and will need a home that is prepared to continue working on training.
Unfortunately, I feel that I can no longer fully meet her needs with my work schedule. I used to be able to work from home part of the day but that is changing. I live alone in an apartment. Rosie would be so happy with space to run around and play with another dog friend!
