Dragon is a cute male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on July 27, 2024 along with his mother (Unicorn) and his two siblings (Griffin and Pegasus). Unfortunately the individual(s) who entrusted this little family to our care did not provide any information about them. Dragon and his brother/sister were 3-month old kittens at that time.
Dragon has a white short smooth coat with patches of orange tabby, a long ringed tail, and an adorable orange tabby/white face with dark golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
Since Dragon and his siblings were fully weaned when they entered our shelter, another litter of orphaned kittens were placed with their mother (Unicorn) on August 2nd. So the 'three little kittens' romped and played in their own large cage where they royally entertained each other.
Dragon was given vaccinations and wormer on July 27, 2024. He weighed 3.1 lbs that day. Dragon was given booster vaccines on August 13, 2024.
These 'big boy' photos were taken on October 13, 2024 when Dragon (and his brother Griffin) explored our 'studio' and melted the hearts of HSOV Volunteers Emma Dahlgren and Carolyn Blanchard who helped the boys with their photo session. Both Dragon and Griffin have super friendly, playful personalities.
Dragon was neutered on October 22, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 5.8 lbs that day.
Dragon and his brother Griffin had approved adoption applications on October 4th 2024 and were being held after they were neutered for their new family .. That adopter changed their mind on November 5th, so Dragon and Griffin are once again available for adoption. Naturally we would still love to see them find a home together as a bonded pair.
