His Foster Parents Say: "As the house of misfits where the dogs who don't have foster offers end up: it's not unusual for us to have last minute guests. Bon Jovi ended up with our crew during Thanksgiving due to having nowhere else to go. And we're not complaining. We could foster this dog for another 20 years. He's the perfect houseguest - survived a hectic:Thanksgiving break with 2 cats, 2 small delicate senior dogs we were house sitting and my own dog that was having some unexpected serious health issues. Through all of this - he was NO bother. He's the sweetest soul alive - so amazingly gentle - great with dogs of all kinds, good with cats. He's housetrained, fine home alone, not super high energy (down for a hike but doesn't require one every day). He's recently really found his comfort level/joy with being in BK - he now gets the zoomies outside and is curious to say hi to other people and dogs. When he's feeling happy he has the MOST adorable and goofy body language. We get so many people who are looking for a dog that is good with kids, cats and dogs - and so many times we have to say sorry we don't have the right fit for you. This is your chance, this is your boy. Heart of gold, no mean bones in his body. Just needs time to get used to you and does not want to live in a super busy area. He loves his toys - he likes to de-stuff them and is a big fan of bones. He's so good at sharing - to the point where he's let the cats have a bite of his food (they know weakness). The only minor annoying habit of his is that he is more prone to chewing on clothes if you leave them on the floor - but an easy fix - just don't leave them on the floor. He doesn't know any commands yet and yet he's still super well behaved. Just a perfect piece of doggie mold that you can sculpt into a masterpiece. We're obsessed and actually going to miss him once he leaves (we don't say this about all of our houseguests)!"

Nope– fine being home alone
Crate training?
Yep/mostly – Seems comfortable in thecrate, may whine a little at first butsettles pretty quickly. We use the cratewhen we leave the pup alone and/or atnight.
Medical status:
Healthy as far as we know. Up to date on their DHPP and Bordetella vaccines (for dogs under 4 months old, adopters will need to finish the DHPP vaccine series and administer the Rabies vaccine at 16 weeks of age), spayed/neutered; microchipped; treated with dewormer upon
How this dog ended up with Social Tees:
Most of our dogs come via partner groups who help us save them from shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia in Tennessee or St. Thomas. There are very few spay/neuter resources there and many more animals in those areas than there are people to adopt them. Rescue groups like ours bring them to the northeast where the desire for pets like these allows us to save their lives.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee any breed mix, exact age, or full grown size (if the dog is under a year old). We do our best with very educated guesses though!
This animal is not at the Social Tees office, all are in foster homes.
