Be ready to welcome sweet girl Levi into your heart. This precious 4 yr old found herself in a overcrowded kill pound due to her family moving and not being able to take her with. She had a family with kids, dog and cats. All of which she loved. She is potty trained and walks well on a leash. She loves car rides and just hanging out with her people. She may be 4, but she still loves to play and do zoomies in the yard. She is just an all around great girl, and weighing only 50lbs. Please come meet this amazing lady at Happy Tails. 815-626-2994

Additional adoption info

All pet adoptions require a completed adoption application. Our office staff and volunteers act as matchmakers to find animals good homes. Your responses on the adoption application help them make a good match. You can also take our Meet Your Match survey (see below), which matches adopters with pets.

Adopters must be 21 years of age and live within 200 miles of our shelter.

The adoption fee is designed to offset some of the expenses we incur in caring for each animal.

Dogs - $200
Puppies - $250 (6 months and younger)
Cats - $25 (seniors), $65 (adult cats)
Kittens - $80 (kittens 6 months and under)
