Dennis the Menace is about 40 pounds and only 9 months old. He can be more on the nervous side when it comes to making new friends, but with a slow introduction he will warm up quickly. Dennis is dog selective when it comes to making new dog friends, and not cat friendly. He would benefit from going to class to learn how to do is basic commands, and even some confidence boosting to help him become more brave! He is already brave, but he is looking for someone to socialize him with the world at his pace so he can see that this world isn't as scary as he thinks it is! It would be even better if he could do that with Opie, his brother, right by their side. He loves Opie so much and we would love to see them be adopted together! Dennis. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm for adoptions. Thursdays we offer later appointments and are open 10am-12pm and 1pm-6pm for adoptions ONLY. All Thursday evening appointments must be scheduled before 4pm. Adoptions range from 60 to 90 minutes to complete. The shelter is closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays.
