Meet Ramsey, also known as Frank, an adorable young pup with a heart full of love. Located in Houston, Ramsey thrives in a home with other dogs as he loves making friends. His experience with cats is unknown, but his playful and chill nature suggests he might adjust well. Ramsey is active when he wants to be but also enjoys lazy moments. He likes having someone home but can be left in the crate for 4-5 hours before needing a break.
Ramsey hasn't been around kids much, but he would likely adore them. He’s still learning leash manners but doesn’t pull and loves going on walks. Potty trained, Ramsey will whine or wait by the door when he needs to go out. Crate trained as well, he prefers blankets and hard toys in his crate to avoid chewing up his bed.
Out of the crate, Ramsey can be quite mischievous, getting into anything left on the floor. He’s a goofy boy, always wanting to be with you or another dog. He gets bursts of energy, often resembling a bucking bronco, and is the best cuddler ever, with a keen interest in every toy.
Ramsey loves toys, cuddles, food, treats, walks, blankets, and being around people and other dogs. However, he dislikes vacuums, blenders, and any loud machines, which scare him but don’t make him aggressive. He doesn't like being left alone for too long and has finally found his voice, though he doesn’t use it often.
This playful and loving pup is eager to find a forever home where he can thrive with plenty of companionship and love. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and slightly goofy companion, Ramsey is the perfect match!
All of our Great Danes are altered, if medically possible, fully vetted, micro-chipped, and on heartworm prevention or treatment prior to being adopted. Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog, you're saving a life when you adopt.

More about this rescue
To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.
To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.
We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
