My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look no further, you have found your strong and wild man, me, Wade, the most handsome black kitten you will find. I was born a few months ago and have five sisters but I am the biggest of our litter. I am a bit of a wild man and absolutely love to play and I get the zoomies on the daily. For that reason, I would do best with you adopting another kitten with me. Wanda is my favorite sister, but Ellie or Yukio can keep up with me as well. I will need a lot of toys to keep me in shape and practicing my awesome parkour and toy fighting skills. I think a house with kids that love to play would be great. Dogs don't scare me either, nothing really does. I am the man. If you are interested in taking me home with one of my sisters, I think that is the smartest decision you will make all day. I am ready to show you how awesome your house will be with me there, get ready. Additional adoption info

Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

Go meet their pets

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. For additional information regarding how you, too, can become a foster, please see our fostering page located on our web site!

CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
