My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey! It’s Jude! Jude is a beautiful boy that is here looking for his forever home. He adores people, but not other dogs. He also is not for the faint of heart, or strength because he is extremely strong. He is also extremely strong willed…. Meaning although he is beautiful and great, he will use his charisma to be the top dog. He needs a strong person both physically and personality to be a gentle owner but a strong knowledge of dog behavior to not let him be the dominant one even with his owner. If this can be found, this dog will be an amazing companion.

More about this shelter

The Forest County Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in the great north woods located in Crandon, Wisconsin. We rescue, rehabilitate and adopt out all breeds of dogs and cats. Every animal is given a thorough examination by a veterinarian before placing them in a loving home and all animals are tested for Lyme disease, heartworm, feline leukemia and other infectious or debilitating diseases. They are vaccinated, de-wormed and spayed or neutered. All animals are lovingly cared for until being placed in their “fur-ever” family. Our website is www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org.
