My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this handsome boy, Gunner! Gunner is a typical Coon hound that loves to go for walks, runs, spending time with his human and letting his nose take him all over. For this reason, Gunner would need a fenced yard to get his energy out and not get lost following his nose.
To get to meet Gunner, get me your application ASAP.

More about this shelter

The Forest County Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in the great north woods located in Crandon, Wisconsin. We rescue, rehabilitate and adopt out all breeds of dogs and cats. Every animal is given a thorough examination by a veterinarian before placing them in a loving home and all animals are tested for Lyme disease, heartworm, feline leukemia and other infectious or debilitating diseases. They are vaccinated, de-wormed and spayed or neutered. All animals are lovingly cared for until being placed in their “fur-ever” family. Our website is www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org.
