Hi, I'm Queenie! I'm a loving girl looking for a new place for my forever home! When we first meet, I'll almost immediately start rubbing up against your legs. I love to play with toys and interact with you too! I am fine to live in a house with other animals! The one thing I don't really like is being grabbed up and carried around. More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
