My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Mercury, our delightful gray and white tabby kitten with a personality as vivacious as his name! Named after the Roman god of communication and travel, Mercury embodies curiosity and charm. With his striking tabby markings and bright, inquisitive eyes, he’s ready to embark on new adventures with you!

Mercury is a playful little explorer who loves to investigate everything around him. Whether he’s chasing after toys, climbing to new heights, or engaging in playful pounces, his energy is contagious! His clever nature means he’s always finding new ways to entertain himself—and you.

But Mercury isn’t just about fun and games; he’s also a loving companion. After a day filled with exploration, he enjoys curling up next to you, purring softly as he relishes in your affection. His sweet demeanor makes him a perfect fit for families, singles, or anyone looking for a furry friend.

Friendly and sociable, Mercury gets along well with other pets, making him a wonderful addition to any home. If you’re ready to welcome a playful and affectionate companion into your life, Mercury is the perfect match!

He is the complete package! He would love to find a home with his buddy Granola or with another young kitty around. Given his personality, we believe he would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction.

His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application.

Please note: Our policy is to adopt young kittens with a littermate, in a bonded pair, or to homes with a similar aged kitten. This policy ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

*All in our program are assumed to be mixed breed as none have had genetic testing. They are designated based on characteristics observed and noted.

We try to make our adoption process a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. At the same time, we pride ourselves on being as thorough as possible. This means that we take time to make sure the pet you're interested in is the right fit for your family. We will work with you to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. If there is more than one application for a pet, we will be upfront and let you know. Please be aware that we may make a home visit and/or contact your veterinarian before completing the adoption process. We may also contact your landlord if you rent an apartment or home. Our aim to ensure a lifetime of love and companionship for all of our animals and their new families.
