Do any of you remember the sad picture of the Breeder dog we had to leave behind? We took 3 momas that day. We finally came back when they told us they were giving her up. She's extremely sweet and curious for being not acquainted with inside living. She never had a name or a warm bed at night with someone to cuddle up with. Due to extreme matting we had to shave her down but her hair will grow back. She's a petite Mini doodle at 15 lbs, she needs to gain some weight and her foster is doing just that, as well as pouring the love into her. Sarah just needs a chance at a new life. Her life was the story of so many mill moms that produce litter after litter of cute puppies, while her life is behind bars in pine shavings as her bedding. Now she has grass to play in, we gave her a dog bed to sleep in. Sarah is a gentle soul who should spend the rest of her new life discovering how spoiled dogs live. Wouldnt you love to give Sarah that chance? We think she would do best in a home that already has another dog to guide her and a fenced yard would be helpful but not necessary as long as you gain her trust and no small children would leave a door open or an opportunity for her to go outside to run away. She is very gentle with children who respect animals. Sarah will be getting spayed on the 22nd she already has been hw tested, all vaccines plus rabies and bordatella, she is also microchipped and has had her Simparica Trio her adoption fee of 400 will cover some of her expenses but finding that perfect home for her is our main goal. More about this rescue
The Charlie Project Dog Rescue is named after a jolly Pomeranian who was supposed to be a stud dog for a breeding facility who seemed to large for them at 10 lbs. He was lucky to be saved but from the time he was a pup he suffered with grade 4 Patellas, collapsed trachea, heart murmur etc These are inherited traits that good breeders would screen out, the business of mass breeding doesn't care. My goal is for every dog regardless of being an undesirable one, deserves a home
