Hi there! I'm Ursula, the curious black bunny with a penchant for adventure and mischief. When you approach, I'll stretch my front paws up as high as possible on the ex pen, eagerly awaiting any treats you might bring. I may be black with patches of white fur, making me a bit elusive in photographs, but my mischievous spirit shines through! I’m bonded with my sister Aerial, so we must be adopted together.
Cardboard is my canvas for "bunstruction," and I'll happily dig in anything from paper to carpet, though I promise to be gentler on your floors if you provide me with blankets in my favorite digging spots. Aerial and I have our moments of rivalry, like any good sisters do, but we always end up cuddling peacefully in our cozy hidey house, or lounging on top for the perfect flop.
We love a good challenge too, whether it's stacking cups, snuffle mats, or figuring out how to get those pellets from rolling dispensers faster. I'm not shy about being petted, though I might sneak away after a minute to explore during run time, feeling a bit like a secret agent darting from shelter to shelter.
When it comes to treats, I'm a bit discerning - I won't always take them from your hand unless they're truly irresistible (like those Oxbow digestive treats I adore!). As for food, I enjoy pear tree branches, clover, and maple branches, alongside carrot shavings and romaine lettuce.
I've adapted well to the pampered indoor life after surviving outdoors with Aerial. We haven’t met cats, but seem to do okay with dogs and tolerate other bunnies who keep to themselves, but I won't hesitate to stand my ground if any bunny tries to dominate me. Older respectful kids also seem okay, as long as they let me stay on the floor where I feel safest.
So, if you're looking for a bonded pair of playful bunnies who bring joy and mischief, adopt me and Aerial! We may be small, but we're packed with love and adventure waiting to brighten your home.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
