My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Bruno was brought in by our Human Law Enforcement on October 10, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Say hello to Bruno, the four-legged goofball who's got enough charm to make your daily life feel like a rom-com. This dashing gentleman is all about turning everyday moments into memories, whether it's his enthusiastic sprints around the yard or his "how-did-I-end-up-here" lounging on your couch. Bruno has mastered the art of making you laugh, sometimes without even trying. Looking for a partner to join you on spontaneous adventures? Don't forget to bring the snacks he's always down for a road trip, a hike, or even just a brisk walk around the neighborhood. And if your definition of adventure involves a movie marathon on the couch, well, Bruno's your guy there too-he excels in the fine art of napping. This is your chance to sign up for the kind of companionship that guarantees no dull moments. Bruno's looking to lock down a long-term deal with someone who appreciates his zest for life. Ready to bring this charismatic fellow home? He's already planning his grand exit from the shelter, complete with a victory lap! Don't forget to bring a leash and collar to take him home.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
