Betty, who’s full name is “Black Betty Bambalam”, is a very sweet girl that was found wandering the streets. She had a pretty bad flea-reaction rash on her skin, and was missing a lot of fur. We got her fleas taken care of and her skin is already doing so much better.
Betty knows a couple of commands already, such as “Sit”, and “Down”, and is very treat motivated. She is always very gentle when taking treats from humans, and we think she’d do great in a house with a family and kids. She does ok on a leash, but could definitely benefit from more training in that area. She is so happy just to hang out with people and get love, she’s a real people-pleaser! Our shelter staff has quickly fallen in love with her!
Betty is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm. She seems to get along with other dogs, and isn’t really interested in cats.
