Here comes Little Miss Sunshine! Meet Clementine!
Clementine is about 3 months old and is a little ball of fiery energy. She is a whole lot of personally in a small package and the most wonderful little ginger-haired cutie. She loves to be the center of attention and her happy place is wrestling with her sisters or getting lots of pets. Clementine currently weighs around 6lbs and we estimate she will be 10-15lbs when fully grown.
Clementine came to us from a local shelter with her mom, Strawberry, and 4 siblings. They were found as strays, and at only a couple of weeks old, the shelter was no place for them to stay long. Luckily, we were able to rescue the family and they now are all ready for adoption.
Clementine is the bossy one of the group and she makes sure her sisters stay in line. When she's not being sassy, she is the sweetest girl who wants all the love. Clementine is on the more independent side and is always on the lookout for fun. While she does enjoy cuddles, she is too busy to be a lap dog. She loves to play and is looking for an active family who can keep up with her puppy antics.
Clementine also is one smart cookie, which means she is prone to getting bored fast, so her new family will need to be prepared to keep her days full of mental stimulation. She is still learning all her basic manners, so needs a family committing to continuing her training and socialization.
Clementine loves other dogs and would be a great little sister to another playful small/medium-sized dog. She also wouldn't mind being your only pup with plenty of opportunities to socialize with other dogs. Clementine lives with cats in her foster home and could do well living with dog-savvy cats in her forever home with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Clementine could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 8 years or older.
Clementine has been doing well with her housetraining but is still perfecting her potty habits, so her new family should expect to continue her training. She has been doing well being left in a crate overnight. Clementine hasn't spent too much time alone, so would do best with a family who can slowly acclimate her to being home alone.
Clementine is such an adorable girl and she deserves the best home. If you think you could be the one for her, submit an adoption application today!
Clementine's adoption fee is $400.

Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption.
