My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruce Melville!

A kind citizen found Bruce roaming around Valley Center. She posted on all the "Lost & Found sites and had him scanned for a microchip where she learned his name was Bruce, and he was microchipped back in December 2012, so he's at least 12 years old.

To give Bruce's family an opportunity to claim him, she had Animal Control pick him up, and he was taken to Carlsbad Shelter. The shelter reached out to the people linked to Bruce's microchip, and they said that they had rehomed him and no longer felt responsible for him.

Poor Bruce became a Frosted Face on October 18th. He is a very sweet guy and weighs 58 lbs. We will add more information about Bruce, as we get to know him better. Please check back soon!
