Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come in anytime during our open hours to visit any of our available cats and/or dogs. Let office staff know what pet you would like to meet.

2.

Meet the Pet

We will put you and the pet in a meet and greet room to read off their file and let you spend time with them.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

The main question we ask is if you own or rent your home. If you rent we check your pet policy. Please bring your pet policy with you.

4.

Pay Fee

We accept cash, card, and check. Payment is due upon adoption.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We have same day adoptions! They go home with you after the fee has been paid! You can bring your own leash, collar, or carrier.

Additional adoption info

Adopting an animal is a long term commitment and is therefore a serious decision which should be given ample consideration. A furry companion is a delight, but make sure that you understand the obligation of ownership as well.

Do you know how much yearly vet visits cost - and food, and toys? The ASPCA estimates the annual cost of a large dog to be $780, and a cat is $575. Of course the monetary commitment fluctuates somewhat depending on an animal's size and specific medical needs, but we can guarantee that you will be spending a significant amount on him each year. Do you have time to exercise with your pet? Some dogs have more energy than others, but most would benefit from daily walks. Even cats are better off when their owners are able to set aside daily time for play. Make sure you can give a pet the attention he craves and deserves.
