Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Levon is a happy, overly friendly, smart 4 yr old male purebred red bi Australian Shepherd, weighing 45lbs. Who is fully vaccinated, neutered, on prevention, and is microchipped. He is also crate trained and completely potty trained. When left at home he is not destructive so long as you get all that energy out of him for the day. He hasn't chewed anything but his toys.
He is a sweet boy and knows no stranger because he is overly friendly with everyone and gets super excited when meeting new people. He is working on sit for pets because he sometimes can't control his excitement for meeting new people, and still working on his manners when greeting them.
He does get scared when held down when he doesn't know you, but with time this goes away quickly. He has some separation anxiety which he is working through as well as the normal resource guarding. So far he only resource guards toys and food from other dogs.
He will require a no cat, small animal, or small child home due to his high prey drive and the fact that he LOVES to chase anything and everything that's smaller than him, except dogs. He gets along great with small and large female dogs so long as there's no toys or food around, at the moment. Unsure how he is with other male dogs. But he gets excited when he sees other dogs.
He also is used to horses, but has only seen them through a fence. He likes to watch them be horses and occasionally will eat grass because he's seen them do it.
He is working on 'leave it', 'stay', and 'down/off' he also knows 'sit' really well. He does know a few tricks and is smart enough to learn so much more. He's done a little bit of clicker training and done well. He will need some more obedience training to help refine his manners in general and on the leash. He walks better on the leash after he's played with his ball some and gotten some energy out of him.
He loves car rides but does need to be tethered as he gets a little anxious while in the car, which he is also working through. He has a lot of energy like any aussie and LOVES his ball time. And loves to play with squeaky toys. He will need a consistent, active, aussie savvy home and a fenced yard of his own to run and expend tgat energy in.
