Meet Ronald, the sweetest little guy who's waiting for his chance to shine! At 2 1/2 years old and only 34 lbs, he's a bundle of untapped potential and endless love. Ronald hasn't had the opportunity to learn the ropes or make many friends, but it's not his fault-he just needs someone patient and kind to show him the way.
This cutie pie is eager to be a good boy and is longing for a hero to guide him toward becoming the wonderful pet and loyal buddy he's meant to be. With the right individual or family, Ronald will blossom, learning to trust and thrive in a safe, loving home. If you're looking for a companion who's ready to give his all once he's given a chance, come meet Ronald. He's waiting for that special someone to discover the amazing dog he truly is!

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
