My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jalapeno
Female~1 1/2 Years Old~ Shepherd Mix
Just rescued from Apple Valley
Yesterday was a busy day for our transporter Jack! He helped evacuate dogs from the fires for the majority of the day but made sure to leave time to go and get Jalapeo out of that horrible shelter before they put her down!
Jalapeno and Jack have had some bonding time and here is what he has noticed so far...
-She had shelter notes for behavior, for being fearful but she has not had any behavior issues - just is scared. She loves the farm animals at the place that I am staying at! She follows really well so I took her on a walk around the ranch off leash and guided her verbally. She does not seem used to being crated but I am working through her separation anxiety. She did well with the little toddlers she met too and was excited but gentle with them.
Jalapeo is now adoptable! Apply for her on our website!
