My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mercutio – A Sweet Boy in Search of His Forever Home

Mercutio’s story starts out a little rough—he arrived as a stray, frightened and unsure of the world around him. With some time, love, and patience, this sweet boy has blossomed into an absolute love bug! Now, he’s ready to find a forever family that will show him he’s finally safe.

Here’s Why Mercutio Will Steal Your Heart:
- Potty Trained & Kennel Savvy – He’s learned the ropes and loves a little treat when he’s in his kennel!
- Dog-Friendly & Playful – Mercutio’s playful spirit makes him the perfect pal for other pups.
- Kid Friendly – His joyful energy is perfect for families, though he’s still learning not to jump when excited (but he takes corrections like a champ!).
- Endless Kisses – This boy LOVES giving kisses and will shower you with affection every chance he gets.

Mercutio’s journey hasn’t been easy, but he’s proof that with love and time, even the most scared souls can bloom. All he needs now is a family to call his own—a place where he’ll feel loved, cherished, and home at last.

Could your family be the one Mercutio’s been waiting for?

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process consist of filling out an agreement document that specifies the adopter will have the adopted animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed/neutered as needed, within an appropriate time period. Currently the adoption fee is $50, but $40 of that comes back in the form of a voucher than can be used at local veterinarians for the rabies vaccination and/or spay/neuter procedure.
