My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy post. If you are interested in Sage, please text or call Jack at (310) 985-9400

Sage is a 1.5-year-old long-haired beauty who’s ready to bring love, joy, and a sprinkle of playful energy to her forever home! She’s the best of both worlds--a perfect companion for cozy lap-time while watching TV and an interactive companion with her bursts of kitten-like energy. Sage is very people-focused and will greet you at the door with excited meows, eager to chat and be near you. One of her favorite things is sitting in your lap while being brushed, especially her belly—it’s a surefire way to win her heart. She’s fantastic with her litter tray and gets along well with other cats, dogs, and children. While she wishes the small dog in her current home would play with her, she remains friendly and adaptable. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and talkative companion, Sage is ready to be your perfect match!

Additional adoption info

All potential families must complete a short and easy application, talk to one of our friendly adoption volunteers and undergo a convenient home check.

Before a dog goes home, all families must complete and sign an adoption contract and we do ask for a suggested donation on all adoptions.

More about this rescue

Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.

We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.

As with any non-profit organization, we rely solely on funds from generous and cherished supporters to keep our doors open to save more lives. If you're not ready to adopt, please still consider donating to Take Me Home (www.takemehome.tv) today. Every little bit helps!
