My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Butterball, the goofy and energetic adult male Siberian Husky who’s always ready for an adventure! With a personality as big as his paws, Butterball loves to keep things fun and light-hearted, always finding a way to make everyone laugh. Whether he’s zooming around the yard or goofing off with his favorite toys, his playful spirit is contagious.

Butterball would do best in a home without small animals!

Butterball has a ton of energy and thrives on regular walks, where he can explore, sniff, and show off his boundless enthusiasm. He knows a few basic commands and is always eager to please, though he might get a bit distracted by the sights and sounds around him! Butterball`s love for the outdoors makes him the perfect walking buddy and he’s sure to brighten up any day with his quirky charm.

If you`re looking for a furry friend who’s full of life and ready to make every walk an adventure, Butterball is your guy! Just be prepared for his goofy antics and energy, because he’s always on the move.

Come meet Butterball today! He is currently located at the Ellensburg Animal Shelter.

If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal`s picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is lifesaving. Adopt Don`t Shop.

Adoption Fees & Process
See current fees at www.yakimahumane.org
The adoption fees help offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals that need our help. We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.
