Archie is a 21 month old adorable Great Pyrenees. He's living in a busy foster home with other dogs, bigger and smaller, and teens. He's a sweet natured boy who loves life. Great with all people and dogs. Archie suffered a jaw injury when he was tossed from a moving vehicle before we fohnd him. He's had surgery for that and doing great!
He developed a limp related to a prior fracture above his right wrist. Our orthopedic surgeon specializing in this type of injury recommended repair so Archie's leg could be saved. This was completed in early 2023. He will never be a runner but he is your typical Pyrenees-Sweet and loving!
To meet Archie and see if he is the pup for you please go to www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online application.
Qualifications for Adoption: No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.
