My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WEIGHT: 50lbs

Meet Penny— This girl might technically be approaching middle-age, but she sure doesn’t act like it. Penny came to us from a partner shelter where she was picked up as a stray, so we don’t know much about her backstory. What we do know is that she plays well with other dogs, at least those who can match her rambunctious play style, enjoys walks, and is super approachable and outgoing. She can be a bit jumpy, so a home with sturdy humans is a must for her. Because her manners could use some polishing, a home with an established dog would likely be helpful to her while she learns the ropes! Overall, Penny is a sweet dog who just needs consistency and a loving home! If you’d like to meet her, feel free to call our adoptions desk or stop by during Browsing Hours: Wed-Sun 11-5.
