My name is Maximus “Max”!

Maximus “Max” was a Hurricane Harvey rescue. He was only about 4 months old when we got him. He is a beautiful cat who has always lived indoors except for monitored excursions on our deck. He is devoted to us ( older couple) and a bit spoiled. He is cautious around strangers, but would become bonded given patience and love. He loves daily brushings with a stiff blow-dryer type brush, loves to chase his bird on a string, scratch his clawing post, and lounge in the sun on his perch monitoring for birds. He only seems to like chicken flavored kibble (Blue Buffalo) and Fancy Feast chicken pate. However, he loves Temptations catnip treats, especially when I put it in a treat puzzle which he expertly figures out. We intended to have him forever, but we are moving out of the country and circumstances are such that we can’t take him with us.
