Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Ritchie County Humane Society with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dixie was surrendered to the shelter on 10/18/2024 with her friend Buck. They have been getting into trouble and running off, so they had to be surrendered. They just need a little bit of training and taught their boundaries a little better, and they'll be great dogs. They are currently a little nervous, but so sweet and love to follow us around. Dixie is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. If you would be interested in adding Dixie to your family, her adoption fee is $150 with an approved application.

More about this shelter
Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
