My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Gracie was born outside on the Wapato Reservation. Her 'owner' was not interested in feeding or keeping her or her littermates, and was threatening to let them starve. A rescue contact reached out for help as Mama and babies were left outside, exposed to the elements. We could not leave them to suffer, so they are all hitching a ride to the west side on Friday, 10/11.

Foster Update:  Meet Gracie, an adorable 8-week-old female puppy with a heart full of love and energy! Gracie is already showing her smarts, picking up potty training quickly and learning that her crate is a safe space. She’s a social butterfly who loves to play and explore, but she’s just as happy to settle in for snuggles with her favorite people.

We met Gracie on October 28th, 2024 and our lives have never been the same. Gracie came to us from a pack of Doberman’s out of Washington state.  Gracie joined our pack with our dog Charlie, whom we have had for three years and raised  from a puppy. Gracie immediately was part of the family. She has a sweet and very calm disposition but still has lots of puppy energy. She is so adorable and so kind. She is learning a lot from Charlie. Gracie is about 90% potty trained. We are working with her every day. She does great and has only had a few indoor accidents only because she is a puppy. Gracie will need a home with a yard as she is very exploratory.Gracie is very attached to humans but also does very well with other dogs. I have introduced her to my sister’s pack of dogs and she did just fine handling herself. Last but not least Gracie is just the cutest damn thing you’ve ever seen and she is so loving and so sweet. At this time we are not considering apartments or condos
