10/13/23 Foster Feedback: Makaria is a great dog! She is potty trained and kennel trained. She loves to walk and can easily walk one to two miles a day. She gets along great with other dogs and my grand kids. She would be great in a relaxed environment and will excuse herself if there gets to be too much excitement. Makaria is awesome!

Additional adoption info

There is a pre-adoption application, reference check, and home visit required prior to adopting an animal. There is an adoption donation/fee applied to all dogs. This fee ranges from $100-150. These fees help cover the veterinary care we have provided for the animals while they wait for homes. The fee also helps pay for the food and other general care we provide for the dogs. You must be 21 yrs or older to adopt a dog and can not live in a an area where there are dog breed bans. We do adopt to homes outside on the area, but there are special requirements for out of state adopters.

We regularly have "Meet the Dogs!" events at the West Fargo PetSmart store. These events will give you the opportunity to meet some of the dogs we have available for adoption and to visit with our volunteers. See our website for schedule dates/times.
