If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Kevin as a kitten from a random local litter. He was born on 3/28/2023. Kevin is playful and energetic. He used to be indoor/outdoor, and would love to be again. From the beginning, our established cats did not welcome Kevin. They are anxious loners. This was difficult for him coming from a full and happy litter of play/cuddle/sleeping mates. In return, he has become aggressive with our other cats. They are in a negative cycle that Ive come to accept is likely unbreakable. My son used to play wrestle with Kevin, and Kevin developed a bad habit of using claws and teeth for play. He will bite or scratch if he is overstimulated with petting/scratching/holding, or if he thinks he is playing with your hand. Kevin loves to crawl onto your chest, flop onto his back, and get his belly rubbed. He can be sweet, cuddly, curious, and hilarious. Recommendations: no other cats, no young children, indoor/outdoor preferred; doesnt know dogs, but I could see him learning to love one.
