Hi there! I'm Ares, a 9-month-old ball of puppy joy, and I can't wait to meet you! My foster family says I’ll probably grow to be around 40-45 pounds, just the perfect size for lots of adventures and snuggles. I’m already spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all my shots, and fully trained with crates, leashes, and house rules! Plus, I’ve mastered some basic commands like sit, down, and wait—I'm a fast learner!
I’m living with other dogs right now, from tiny 10-pounders to big 80-pound buddies, and I love them all! My favorite is my 10-pound foster brother—we have the best time playing chase in the yard. My foster family thinks I’ve got some Heeler in me because I like to ‘herd’ my doggy pals during playtime.
Since I'm still young and full of energy, I need a yard where I can run, play, and fetch to my heart's content. I’d do great in a home with kids over 5 and maybe another doggie sibling to play with. When it’s time to relax, I’m super loyal and love sticking close to my humans—I'm a world-class snuggler and my puppy eyes will melt your heart!
I’d also be your perfect adventure buddy for hikes or camping trips. If you think we could be a match, I’d love to meet you! Just email bicklekt@gmail.com to set up a playdate!

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
