My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!
I am Cheetoes! I am a dark orange tabby guy!

I am hoping for a patient and loving home that will give me a chance! I do have heart disease and have a whole write up from my cardiologist; the good news is my condition is managed with some meds in the morning and afternoon and I easily take them with some churros. I also have a condition where my nails in my front paws are not exactly right, and they don`t retract, and if they are not clipped every month, they will grow into my paw pads which is how I was rescued. A caretaker found me after my owner died and their son threw myself and the other cats outside in the winter. I did the best to survive and in the meantime my nails grew into my paw pads and I could barely walk. They were bloody and infected. But now I get regular nail trims, and I can walk and jump and do everything !

I like to play and love toys with cat nip! Sometimes I have a lot to say and can meow up a storm. I get along with other cats or would do great by myself. I look forward to my 2nd chance at a forever home!

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
