My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dena!

Dena is a 3-year-old Alaskan Malamute and Husky mix, adopted from Austin Pets Alive two years ago. She’s highly athletic and needs a home with plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation. Whether it’s long hikes, games, or space to run in a fenced yard, Dena is happiest when she has room to be active. Indoors, she is calm, wandering about or lounging.

Dena is professionally well-trained and knows commands like “heel”, “fetch”, “place”, ”come” and even “spin.” She has an amazing recall even a very long distance. While she’s shy around new people, she quickly warms up, especially when introduced outdoors. One of her favorite spots is her medium-sized indoor kennel, where she finds comfort and security. She sleeps through the night without interruptions and rarely barks, only making soft noises when excited.

Dena is a quiet, loving companion ready to find her forever home. Could you be the one for her?
