What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Blueberry seems to be an American Pitbull Terrier, probably just around a year old, and was found as a stray. Since Austin Animal Center is not taking in strays, I agreed to foster her until I can find the right home for her. She has had at least 1 litter of pups and was in heat when she was found. She is now spayed and microchipped, has had all her vaccinations, and is ready for her forever human.
She's very sweet and affectionate, a bundle of energy, and is incredibly smart. She's also crate trained, and house trained. She has a few favorite toys, but her most favorite is her Kong bone. She loves to run up to it and pounce on it and pretend that she's chased down and captured an incredible prize!
Blueberry is great on walks, has great social skills, and likes to make human friends, but has some food/territorial aggression with other dogs, so would be best if she was the only dog in the household. Let me know if you'd like to meet her, and we can arrange a visit.
