My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet pint sized Pistachio! She is the sweetest! She is a bit unsure at first (only because she is afraid) so she needs someone who will give her time to adjust and be gentle. Pistachio will need a secure fenced yard in her home so she will be safe while she gains confidence and learns to trust. This little cutie is precious and will be a cuddle bug before you know it!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
