My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! Jake here! You are looking at a sweet and I might add...handsome boy that found himself in a bit of a pickle recently! I was running in the road and dodging cars and hoping that someone would help me. Well someone did help me! A nice lady stopped her car and called me to her. I hopped in and she brought me to the shelter. She said she wanted me to be safe and "reconnect" with my owners. Well as it turned out, I was never claimed by my owners and I am now in the market for a new home. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. Now here's the part that could be a problem. I am close to 3 years old. Is that a problem for you? It isn't for me! Just come meet me and you will see what a happy fellow I am!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
