My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is Apollo. Apollo is 2 yrs old & weighs 78 pounds. He was surrendered by his owner to a shelter who was no longer able to keep him. Apollo will require a home with no cats, we don't know about small dogs. He gets along best with large breed female dogs presently. He does well with some neutered large breed males. He enjoys kids but due to his large size he will be best suited for a home with children 8 yrs & older. Overall, he is pretty calm, although he has plenty of typical Boxer energy when it comes to romping & playing. He enjoys having his head rubbed & getting all the attention he can. Apollo walks well on lead. He was kept as an outside dog so he is working on becoming house trained & crate trained. He continues to make good progress with. Apollo takes his time with each new experience & requires some patience & reassurance. He is also working on learning basic commands & will require an adoptive family who is willing to continue with his obedience training. He doesn't like to jump into a vehicle when it's time to go for a car ride but he rides well once he's helped in. He is up to date on all his vetting, microchipped & deserving of a loving forever family.
